Forest Familiar-Midnight Moth
When true dark sets in she shakes her wings out ready to take off.
The cooler air smoothly carrying her aloft to take in the inky night and all of it's twinkling lights. She loves the way she is cloaked in similar hues and her mask being the only thing to set her apart from the backdrop of space.
She flits above the canopy of the forest, barely aware of the bustling of other nocturnal creatures. This is what freedom looks like.
She is noticed by an owl, a guardian keeping watch over the canopy, but as she is clearly in her own world and very much enjoying her flight, the owl doesn't disturb her for news.
As soon as the first rays creep over the treetops she is gliding toward her next camp. She will nap and doze through the day, blissfully resting for her next flight.
